Since I updated to Windows 11 I've been having a weird issue. I'm not able to select a different wallpaper for each of my two monitors. In the Personalization>Background menu, upon right clicking on the image to display the context menu, if I select "Set for Desktop 2" it does not change anything. On the other hand if I select "Set for Desktop 1" it changes the background for both monitors. Please note that I have my dual monitor set to Extend and not duplicate. I had this issue that with windows 11, for some reason the windows copy to clipboard took a while, like a two or three second delay between the screenshot was taken and it being copied, and I was looking for a solution, and so far nobody had a real solution but I think I found a good one to fix this without disabling snipping tool.1.2KViews0likes6CommentsUsing Windows passkey to log into sites
I have a desktop PC, a travel laptop and a stationary laptop. All share the same Windows account and passkey to log into Windows. All 3 machines can login fine. For web sites however, only the travel laptop will log into the sites. For the other 2 machines, I get: "there was a problem signing in with your passkey" I have to do it the old way using a credentials list that I keep on a memory stick. An example is Amazon, where it logs out from time to time, which is probably for security as I have more than 1 device. Looking up the error message on Google gives me Reddit and Microsoft support users who can't sign into Windows with their passkey, which isn't my issue because the passkey works fine for Windows logon. I also searched here and can't find any thread titles matching "passkey". Anyone got any ideas, or is a 3rd party password manager the way forwards? It does seem a waste for me though if Windows can already do it fine on one of my machines.16Views0likes0Comments
