Installation Issue in Microsoft Edge
In my Machine i currently have Microsoft Edge for MAC 143.0.3650.80, and I am trying to update the app Microsoft Edge for MAC 143.0.3650.96 through the PKG installer from the website. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download?form=MA13FJ https://msedge.sf.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com/filestreamingservice/files/39c16afe-6ffe-42f8-aa82-4dd057fcf1d5/MicrosoftEdge-143.0.3650.96.pkg The installation appears to be successful, but the app has not been updated. Upon checking the logs, it seems the installation was not completed and skipping PackageKit: Skipping component "com.microsoft.edgemac" (143.0.3650-143.0.3650-*) because the version 143.0.3650-143.3650.25121080-* is already installed at /Applications/Microsoft Edge.app. Is there any issue in above PKG installer? Can anyone help with this issue?
Edge browser crashes after file download / open
Hello, I am using Edge browser Version 142.0.3595.80 (Official build) (64-bit), on Linux. When downloading a file , and trying to open the downloaded file from wihin browser, it causes edge browser instances to close. I have been using other browsers to get around the problem. Is this a known problem, and are there a solution to this problem? Thanks, Jay
Edge pdf text addition = massive file size increase
As of today, when I add just a small amount of text (20-30 characters) to a pdf and save, the file size increases from 66KB to 55,000KB ... never happened before. I've reported to Microsoft but they have no solutions. Any ideas to get around? Saving as a separate file has same result. Thanks
Copilot Sign In On Edge Browser Not Working
The sign In button on the copilot toolbar on the edge browser does not work at all. I ask it to generate an image, or I try to upload multiple files, then it pops up the sign in, but clicking the sign in doesn't work. I've tried Microsoft support and they tried some things, but they ended up referring me to here.
New Tab search UI (Ctrl + Shift + A) has changed - how to revert to previous behavior ?
Since the latest Microsoft Edge update, the Tab Search panel opened with Ctrl + Shift + A has changed. It now opens on the side instead of the center, and arrow key navigation no longer works. Only Tab navigation works now. this makes it much harder to use quickly. Is there any way to restore the previous centered Tab Search UI, or re-enable up and down arrow navigation, or undo this specific UI change ? The old version worked perfectly for my workflow. The new version slows everything down. Thanks Michael
Safe search cannot be disabled in the UK
I am in the UK. I am an adult, logged in using an account which is well over 18 years old, in fact it's closer to 25. Every month, I pay you for 365, using a UK credit card in the name of the account, and the account is registered with many utility providers. I am demonstrably over 18. So why can't I disable safe search? - When I try to change the dropdown on the page, it flips back. - When I go to the settings, the option is disabled, Even using a VPN doesn't disable it. That is, unless I sign out. If I sign out: - Then from a UK IP, I cannot disable safe search. - From any other country, there is no problem. It is blatantly obvious this is a UK block. That's fine, if you give adults an override. So how do I override it? How do I verify my age? And clearly this isn't legally necessary because no other search engine does it. So if you can't treat me like an adult without ridiculous workarounds, I'll search elsewhere. Thanks.Video Super Resolution Missing Options in Setting
Enhance videos in Microsoft Edge (Flag: #edge-video-super-resolution) is missing critical options in setting, making it impossible to function properly. In Version 136.0.3240.29 (Official build) beta (64-bit), as well as the previous beta build, it is missing the option to choose from three methods of video enhancement, as shown in screenshot.
