Camera not working in New Teams Public Preview
Anyone else having camera issues today? My camera worked yesterday and with the update this morning it doesn't work anymore. My camera works in the old versions of Teams, in the web version of Teams, and in all other applications but when I join a meeting in New Teams Public Preview the camera is blank and does not turn on. Version You have Microsoft Teams version 23104.900.2020.2949. You've got the latest version. It was last updated on 4/24/2023. The client version is 49/23040901300.
Microsoft teams not working with OBS virtual camera 23/2/2021
Recently I downloaded OBS to enable me to switch between multiple camera angles, and I have managed to get all of the inputs set up. Everything works fine with other programs such as zoom, google meet and skype but not teams. I can set the camera input to obs virtual cam, and on the preview screen everything is fine, but the other people in the meeting cannot see anything and it looks like my camera is off. Is there a solution to this problem? (I am running up to date software on a new 2020 Macbook Pro, with the latest versions of MacOS, Teams and OBS)
Video in Teams causes Surface Pro to overheat
Hi, My Surface Pro has been getting really, really hot during video calls in Teams. Today it got so hot that it caused a shutdown. Why is the camera so systems intensive? Can you please add a setting to allow reduced video load? It seems crazy that a Microsoft product would run so poorly on a Microsoft device.
Very Low Quality video camera
It's been a while I see post concerning video quality... I tested with several cameras, and now a razer kiyo 4K and nothing changed ! Always the same "sh*ty" quality with the TEAMS desktop client, and good quality using the web app ! MICROSOFT, what are you doing ? It's been several years customers request an option to set the quality! Why nothing is done on this side ? Are you thinking this is normal to still have a 360p quality and rise the price of the monthly plan ? Come on... someone from Microsoft can take the lead on this topic please ?
Bug: Unplugging a camera in capturing breaks device enumeration
Camera device may not be removed from navigator.mediaDevices.enumerateDevices() after being unplugged. We tested several PCs with Windows 10 installed. I modified a sample of WebRTC a bit, which could help reproduce this issue. It's not reproducible always, and possibility varies with different machines.The camera is not working only in Teams.
First, please understand if you don't understand the sentence due to lack of English skills. The camera won't work from today on the teams that used well. The camera is recognized in the settings, but the current screen is not transmitted from the preview screen. The camera works well in other programs. However, there is a problem only with Teams. I don't know if it's a privilege issue.
