Anyone else having camera issues today? My camera worked yesterday and with the update this morning it doesn't work anymore. My camera works in the old versions of Teams, in the web version of Teams, and in all other applications but when I join a meeting in New Teams Public Preview the camera is blank and does not turn on. Version You have Microsoft Teams version 23104.900.2020.2949. You've got the latest version. It was last updated on 4/24/2023. The client version is 49/23040901300.Microsoft teams not working with OBS virtual camera 23/2/2021
Recently I downloaded OBS to enable me to switch between multiple camera angles, and I have managed to get all of the inputs set up. Everything works fine with other programs such as zoom, google meet and skype but not teams. I can set the camera input to obs virtual cam, and on the preview screen everything is fine, but the other people in the meeting cannot see anything and it looks like my camera is off. Is there a solution to this problem? (I am running up to date software on a new 2020 Macbook Pro, with the latest versions of MacOS, Teams and OBS)32KViews0likes2CommentsDark face during Teams call
Hi Community, Depending on time of the day and the corresponding lighting situation in my office, my face is frequently shown very dark. a) How can I access the camera properties menu during (!) a call. Note: I know the properties menu, but it is not accessible during a call. b) Any current smartphone recognizes a face in a video stream and brightens the picture so the face is lit properly. I'd like to suggest that Teams should have the same functionality. Best Ted_MUCSolved15KViews0likes10CommentsMicrosoft Teams Room Console and Logitech BRIO
I have an HP Elite Slice for Meeting Rooms G2 and bought a Logitech BRIO Ultra 4K and wanted to use this as Room Camera (not Content Camera). So, regarding the MS page https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/across-devices/devices/product?deviceid=37 and also the Logitech page, there is no information about that Logitech BRIO is ONLY and just a content camera. So did I anything wrong, or is the hardware not usable as room camera? bestSolved13KViews0likes3CommentsCamera does not work on Teams with media optimizations installed
Camera does not work in Teams running on Windows 10 AVD with media optimisations installed. I can see the camera feed with the Windows Camera app. However, in Teams client, it just shows a white screen. Speakers and Microphone work without any problems. Anyone encountered this issue before.Solved9KViews1like27CommentsVideo in Teams causes Surface Pro to overheat
Hi, My Surface Pro has been getting really, really hot during video calls in Teams. Today it got so hot that it caused a shutdown. Why is the camera so systems intensive? Can you please add a setting to allow reduced video load? It seems crazy that a Microsoft product would run so poorly on a Microsoft device.7.1KViews1like18CommentsMine and the other participant's camera doesn't show up for the host
Hi, I attempted to host a meeting as a test today, and I was unable to see both my camera and the camera view of the other person. However, the other person can see mine. When looking at where my own camera should be, it's a grey rectangle. Where the other person's camera should be, it shows their initials in a circle. When that person shares their screen, it also does not come up. Instead also coming up as their initials in a circle. Upon further testing, this is only happening on our Windows 11 PCs when they are the host. So far I have tested several things, including: - Checking for updates, - Gone back to previous versions, - Checked drivers, - Checked task manager for anything that could be using the camera - Checked the camera privacy settings - Checked the Teams settings - Checked the cache for TeamsSolved4.5KViews0likes14CommentsVery Low Quality video camera
It's been a while I see post concerning video quality... I tested with several cameras, and now a razer kiyo 4K and nothing changed ! Always the same "sh*ty" quality with the TEAMS desktop client, and good quality using the web app ! MICROSOFT, what are you doing ? It's been several years customers request an option to set the quality! Why nothing is done on this side ? Are you thinking this is normal to still have a 360p quality and rise the price of the monthly plan ? Come on... someone from Microsoft can take the lead on this topic please ?2.3KViews0likes4CommentsBug: Unplugging a camera in capturing breaks device enumeration
Camera device may not be removed from navigator.mediaDevices.enumerateDevices() after being unplugged. We tested several PCs with Windows 10 installed. I modified a sample of WebRTC a bit, which could help reproduce this issue. Here is the https://github.com/shaqi86/webrtc-samples/tree/gh-pages/src/content/devices/input-output Steps to Reproduce: 1) Open the demo in Edge (build and run the web server first). 2) Select an external camera and approve the access. 3) After capturing started, unplug the camera. Expected Result: Unplugged camera device should be removed from enumerateDevices(). Actual Result: Unplugged camera device is not removed from enumerateDevices(). It's not reproducible always, and possibility varies with different machines.1.4KViews0likes3CommentsThe camera is not working only in Teams.
First, please understand if you don't understand the sentence due to lack of English skills. The camera won't work from today on the teams that used well. The camera is recognized in the settings, but the current screen is not transmitted from the preview screen. The camera works well in other programs. However, there is a problem only with Teams. I don't know if it's a privilege issue.1.2KViews0likes1Comment
