Very Low Quality video camera
It's been a while I see post concerning video quality...
I tested with several cameras, and now a razer kiyo 4K and nothing changed !
Always the same "sh*ty" quality with the TEAMS desktop client, and good quality using the web app !
MICROSOFT, what are you doing ?
It's been several years customers request an option to set the quality! Why nothing is done on this side ?
Are you thinking this is normal to still have a 360p quality and rise the price of the monthly plan ?
Come on... someone from Microsoft can take the lead on this topic please ?
- It could be due to bandwidth that it automatically crops down. As far as i know default is 1080P

I tried by calling from one computer to another, on the same network.
My internet connection is a 5G connection with can go up to 300-400Mbps depending on weather, but never below 300.focus on the following problem :
- desktop client : bad quality
- web app : high quality
This problems is known, but nothing is made to fix this problem... I read post from 2020, 2021, 2022 and also 2023 ! Every year, this problem is raised, and after 4 years, nothing had changed...
Why web app is OK, but not the desktop client ?
Nicolacho I understand your problem and it is frustrating to see. I would suggest to create a ticket. Next to that i would advice to upvote this item Enable support for 4k webcams · Community (microsoft.com)

is it on a android based device or windows pc or macNicolacho
in my cases , it come across a lot of issues when i am using a android devices. it works good on my windows laptop and mac.
