Hello, My company is currently working on migrating from SfB to Teams and we want our Teams to deliver quality in terms of Calls, Video and App/Screen-Sharing. In order to do so we want to enable QoS for Microsoft Teams, but we can't seem to agree on the port range to open up to set this up and we hear 2 sides to QoS. One side says we need to open a lot of ports in orde provide QoS seemlessly, another side says the port range doesn't need to be that big for a large amount of users. Hopefully you guys can help me clarify this! Our situation: - Company with around 7.5k employees - We call/meet/share a lot in these Covid times One side says: You need to open following ports E2E for QoS: - Audio: 42501 - 50000 - Video: 50001 - 57500 - Screenshare: 57501 - 65000 The other side counters this with (E2E): - Audio: 50000 - 50499 - Video: 50500 - 50999 - Screenshare: 51000 - 51499 Who is at the right end here? Does a port get reserved when someone is using it and someone else can't use it then or can multiple users use the same port for audio or video or screenshare? Big thanks in advance!SolvedHow can I confirm if my users are fully migrated to Teams
Can someone give me a quick answer. I am currently migrating users from Skype on Prem to Teams. Without closing my on prem Skype server how can I know if my users are fully migrated to Teams. Basically what I want to know is if I close my Skype server will my Teams migrated users work? How can I know this for sure? ThanksMigrate CAP Devices from SfB to Teams
Hello, we are migrating from SfB 2015 on-premises to Teams, which includes PSTN telephony. The client wants the migration to be a long process for business reasons, so users in Sfb and users in Teams will have to coexist. We have found that the customer has old CAP devices, not compatible with Teams. The customer knows they have to buy new Teams-compatible CAP devices, but wants them have the same name. That is, if the device was called Room1 in SfB, it has to be called Room1 in Teams, because user call the device searching the name Room1. 1 - What is the proper procedure to migrate CAP devices from SfB to Teams? For users the command Move-Csuser is used, but I do not find information for CAP devices. I suppose that because the devices are not-compatibles, the only solution there will be: - remove the old CAP device from Skype, how is it done? - install the new CAP in Teams 2- can users moved to Teams call the old CAP devices from SfB? I mean SIP call (1 to 1) from SfB to Teams, not PSTN call Thanks a lot for any informationCalling from Teams Consumer / Skype consumer to Teams Account
Hi, I'm looking for a solution to make a "free call" over the internet into Teams External number Let me explain: Employee1 has a Teams client with a call forward to his mobile phone. Customer2 using Skype/Teams consumer Customer2 is calling Employee1 -> call is dropping (in case Employee1 is doing "Simultaneously Ring" to his mobile. The call is reaching out to the Teams client perfectly but not on the cellular). How can I give Skype/Teams consumer client or any other solution to call Teams Auto Attendant / a user that is doing forward to Auto Attendant? Thanks in advance to all replyers
