Bookings Meetings

I already have seen that this problem was notified but it still don't have any answer for 2 years : https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-bookings/appointments-keep-canceling-in-bookings/m-p/1364666 I have created group appointment up to 100 people. When one of the customer cancels it (it seems that it is specifically customer with a gmail email address) - from his email notification or via google calendar - it cancelled the appointment for everyone. We set up the service to disable the functionnality "Allow clients to manage their appointments when booked by you or your team on their behalf" in base details, but we still have the option to cancel it as customer. Another intriguing part is that you can find this option "Let customers manage their own appointments" for each appointment created, that you have to manually uncheck it for all of them, but in any case, it does not block the cancellation by a customer. Moreover, when a customer cancels, this option becomes active again automatically. Is there not a solution that will be applied urgently on this subject? This is a frustration for the customers and clearly a lack of viability6.9KViews0likes18CommentsAvailability on Microsoft bookings
Hello- I am working on a project for the SPA in a hospitality company. As a user we want to be able to schedule appointments through Microsoft bookings. We have a subscription and have the platform up and running. One of our biggest issues is availability when we go and schedule an appointment. We have our employees hours entered under their account. These are the available hours entered under the availability tab on the edit staff section. When a user schedules an appointment they get the following message that the masseuse who is scheduled is unavailable. I know that this is probably a settings issue but wasn't sure what needed to be changed to make it look like this. I have tried to change the hours a couple of times through different strategies and have not been able to get the desired outcome. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!Solved3.6KViews0likes3CommentsBookings automatically confirms my new meetings to the customer
Hi! When a customer makes a new booking with me - they receive the first confirmation mail to let them know that the booking is sendt. Then directly after they get an email saying - meeting is ok and confirmed from the host. But I never confirmed the booking as an admin. What have I missed? Can I "ok" the booking to trigger this last mail? Or is it always confirmed automatically?3.6KViews0likes2CommentsCan I hide a published booking from the main booking page, and only view via a direct URL?
We have a number of bookings A, B and C which we would like to be made available to the public. If I navigate to Services -> Service, it shows a direct URL to the "Service booking page", e.g.: (1) https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/[myCalendar]/bookings/s/[UniqueString ] However, I would like to hide booking C from the main booking page: (2) https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/[myCalendar]/bookings so that it is only accessible via the direct link. I.e. I would like to have some of these bookings be publicly available (1), but would not like them to be easily enumerated on a single page (2). Is there a way to do this? Currently I only have the option of setting a page as "Not Published", but this hides the booking from both (1) and (2). Is there a way to make the booking only appear in (1)? Thank you3.1KViews4likes1CommentUnable to book appointment for non-outlook users
Hello. When sending my Bookings Page link to someone using gmail, they receive a "This link is not valid response". I'm using the new version of Bookings. There is no option to turn on/off requirement of Office 365 control. https://learn.microsoft.com/answers/storage/attachments/263517-bookings.png (50.7 KiB) https://learn.microsoft.com/answers/storage/attachments/263543-gmailandbookings.png (83.3 KiB)2.9KViews0likes3CommentsBookings page deleted and issues since new year
We've been using bookings for almost a year now to allow candidates to select their interview time from a specific pre-defined list of options. Instead of creating a service from scratch, we usually just amend an existing one for a new role. However, when we logged in in January after the Christmas break, our bookings page (and all previous services) had disappeared and it asked us to set up a new one. Trying to access the old one through links on old invites / notifications didn't work - the page was gone. We have now set up a new bookings page, but continue to have major issues. We have previously used the 'custom availability' option to set up specific interview slots (e.g. when we are only interviewing in the afternoon). However, this is now overridden by the availability of the assigned staff member which is a shared inbox so appointments are offered outside of the availability hours set in the service. We have also had an issue whereby the interview slots display correctly until the first person books in, after which all of the other options either change or disappear. As there is no overlap, this should not happen and did not happen in the past. This is making Bookings unusable for us, any ideas on a fix would be much appreciated!2.8KViews0likes15CommentsCustom human readable URLs for booking links
Hello, I'm using book.ms as a corporate alternative to calendly.com One key feature that's causing me a lot of frustration is that I can't easily find a link to share, because they all look like this: https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/Email address removed/bookings/s/laykOhAG3UutEdS0b5P_jFw2 Instead of this: https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/Email address removed/bookings/s/joey_60_minutes So, every time someone asks me for a booking link, I have to make a long and cumbersome series of clicks to find the right link to copy-paste. Is there any way to give the URLs a human-readable component? Thanks2.5KViews0likes2CommentsBookings Generate Wrong Meeting Link in Teams App
I created a calendar and a service using Microsoft Bookings. This service is created for the use of company employees and I am not sharing it with an external audience. When someone books my calendar using Microsoft Bookings, both me and the respective person, get an email notification and it also gets updated in our respective calendars. The challenge is that I (whose calendar is booked using Microsoft Bookings) get the correct link in the Teams app while the person who books the calendar gets an incorrect link starting from visit.teams.microsoft.com/.... It seems like the Teams app doesn't support this link, hence, the person who booked the meeting using Microsoft Bookings is forced to use either the link received through an email notification or an Outlook calendar (browser). Also, using either of the mentioned methods, one can join the meeting but only through the Teams browser and not the Teams app. Because I am using Microsoft Booking for the employees of my company, it is difficult for me to explain to every employee about this challenge. Most of the employees are using the Teams app. They either end up leaving the meeting or create another meeting at the end. I want to fix this. Can someone help me here?2.5KViews1like5CommentsHow to possible to limit the number of bookings for a client?
Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to limit the number of bookings for a client, by its email or its domain. for i.e. The client, Andy, can only book 4 slots on my reservation book. If he tries to book the 5th one, using the same email or domain, it will be automatically blocked or unavailable.2KViews1like3CommentsCan you import a variable into Microsoft Bookings?
We often need to ask a series of qualification questions via a survey platform in advance of scheduling an interview with a research participant. While it's possible to embed the Bookings interface into the survey platform so the research participant can schedule their interview after they qualify, we have no ability to tie the Booking the research participant created to their qualification question responses, except to ask the participant to manually type their ID into a custom field or Notes section in Bookings. Is it possible to import a variable, such as an ID, into Bookings (either as a pre-populated hidden field or a custom field) so we can connect the Bookings appointment to the research participant's qualification question responses in the survey platform without asking the research participant to do the work for us?1.2KViews0likes1Comment
