Teams v2 - Meet Now says 'Meeting Ended' in channel
Our org fully switched to Teams v2 last week - IT had been using it for the most part for ~2 months with no issues. Yesterday we started getting tickets from users that use the Meet Now functionality in their Team's General channel to have impromptu meetings throughout the day. On Teams v1 someone would start the meeting, and everyone else in the channel would get a toast notification that a meeting had started. If they missed the toast they could go to the channel and click 'Join'. In Teams v2 people are starting Meet Now meetings in the same channel, but no one is getting a toast notification, and when they asked people to join via chat, people would go to the channel and the meeting says 'Meeting ended'. Except, when they close and relaunch Teams v2, they can suddenly join the meeting. The bug is not apparent in either of the web versions of Teams either. Anyone else experiencing an issue with the list of possible recipients for a call transfer? (Teams v 25153.1010.3727.5483) The search list for call transfer only shows tenant users, it doesn't include any of the global contacts, individual's contacts, or Speed Dials. Announcement Playback Service chat ¡HEPL!
Hello, for a few weeks now, one or two chats with the same name "Announcement Playback Service" have been appearing in my recent chats without explanation. Since the new chat update, they have remained permanently static in recent chats. I can't remove them, delete them, move them, or hide them. They're very annoying. I want to remove them. Does anyone know how? I've attached photos. Mute/unmute hotkey stopped working in main windows during presentation
In recent versions I have been able to press CTRL + SHIFT+ M when I was presenting (sharing) something from my Teams main window. Recently this stopped working and I need to go forth and back from main window to the my call window to mute myself. Could you please restore the old behavior. Thank you! Best regards Tom
Extremely annoying window sizing bug on Mac OS
I have a bug I can reproduce on multiple machines, and it is driving me absolutely insane. Teams refuses to stay as a smaller window. I have a 32" 4k monitor, so I obviously don't run things full screen. I open Teams, I size the window the the size I want, and it's supposed to stay there. That's how every Mac app has worked for years. That's how Teams worked until recently. But for some reason, that's not what happens now. After closing the app window (keeping it running or not) when I click the icon in my dock to re-open it, it goes full screen. So I get a message in Teams, I click the icon, it goes full screen. I resize, finish what I'm doing and close it. Next message, same thing. I get 50-100 messages a day... this is unusable right now.
New Teams automatically "deselect" the Microsoft 365 Chat-App Setting
Hello everyone, I have a problem with the New Teams Client. Each time the setting that the new Teams is the Microsoft/Office365 chat app is deselected. I have already spoken to our IT department and there is no GPO or anything similar regarding this setting. The problem only occurs in the "new" Teams, I have already done a complete reinstallation. But it did nothing. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a suitable topic online. Best regards... 🙂
