Hello, I wrote to credly support because I saw one of my badge "expired" (but it doesn't). After asking some explanation, they tell me that : "Microsoft Certifications earned and claimed on Credly before June 30, 2023, will be available for viewing and sharing through Credly until June 30, 2024. However, your Microsoft Certifications on Credly will no longer be kept current or updated as you pass renewal exams or earn new Microsoft Certifications. This is because Microsoft is not partnered with Credly anymore." Is anyone knows why and how can we have the same dashboard for the next badges acquired in the future ? How to write to the Microsoft Certification Support because... I couldn't find the magic button to do it, which is why I'm calling for help here! Thanks ! 🙂Solved5.5KViews0likes9CommentsRegister for December 11th webinar: Put AI to work with Microsoft Copilot!

I have an excel spreadsheet that consists of 7,500 rows sorted by station and year with associated values. I have sorted the same station and the same year to stand together (see example below). I want to find an automated way (formula, function, etc.) to calculateTHE SUM of the values for each station for the same year. I have tried various Excel functions without success. How can it be resolved? station year value SUM GE10 2008 1 1 GE10 2013 5 5 GE10 2024 2 2 GE10 2016 2 GE10 2016 7 9 GE10 2023 3 3 GE11 2013 1 1 GE11 2016 1 GE11 2016 3 GE11 2016 2 6 GE12 2008 1 1 GE13 2013 3 GE13 2013 2 GE13 2013 1 GE13 2013 4 10 GE13 2014 2 2 GE11 2022 1 1 GE13 2013 3 GE13 2013 1 GE13 2013 4 GE13 2013 5 GE13 2013 2 15 GE12 2013 1 1 GE10 2008 4 449Views0likes2CommentsChanging Entra\\Azure Sign In As Email
Change Entra\\Azure Sign In As Email is a critical process in the context of professional environments that rely heavily on Microsoft Azure services for their daily operations. By leveraging this feature, users can seamlessly sign in to their Azure accounts using their corporate email addresses for enhanced security and convenience. This not only simplifies the log-in process but also ensures that sensitive organizational data remains safe from unauthorized access. Furthermore, it streamlines user management processes by centralizing login credentials and permissions within the corporate email domain, leading to improved efficiency and control over resource allocation. Overall, implementing Change Entra\\Azure Sign In As Email showcases a commitment to best practices in cybersecurity and access control within an enterprise setting, promoting a more secure and productive work environment.110Views0likes0CommentsAzure Policy Guest Configuration new Feature
Azure Policy guest configuration allows you to audit and enforce configuration settings inside virtual machines (VMs). This includes checking the configuration of the operating system, applications, and even environmental data within both Windows and Linux VMs Here are some key features: Audit and Compliance: It helps ensure VMs comply with your organization’s policies by auditing settings like password security, certificate expiration, and more. Custom Content: You can author and publish custom content to meet specific compliance requirements. Integration with Azure Arc: Through Azure Arc, it supports not only Azure VMs but also physical servers and non-Azure VMs. Automation: Policies can be deployed and managed using Azure CLI, PowerShell, or ARM templates Some common use cases for this feature: Azure Policy guest configuration is quite versatile and can be used in various scenarios to ensure compliance and security within your virtual machines. Here are some common use cases: Security Compliance: Password Policies: Ensure password policies, such as complexity and expiration, are enforced on Windows and Linux VMs. Certificate Management: Audit and ensure that certificates are not close to expiration1. Configuration Management: Software Inventory: Check for the presence of required software and ensure unauthorized software is not installed. Access Control: Verify that only authorized users have access to the VMs. Regulatory Compliance: Baseline Configurations: Ensure that VMs meet specific regulatory requirements, such as those for HIPAA, GDPR, or other industry standards. Operational Efficiency: System Updates: Ensure that VMs are regularly updated and have the latest patches installed. Resource Optimization: Audit VMs to ensure they are configured optimally for performance and cost management. Custom Policies: Custom Audits: Create and enforce custom policies tailored to your organization’s specific needs Best practices for using Azure Policy guest configuration: Define Clear Policies: Start by defining clear and specific policies that align with your organization’s compliance and security requirements. Use built-in policies where possible and create custom policies as needed. Use Policy Initiatives: Group-related policies are integrated into initiatives to simplify management and ensure comprehensive coverage. This helps apply multiple policies at once and track compliance more efficiently. Regular Audits and Compliance Checks: Schedule regular audits to ensure that your VMs remain compliant with the defined policies. Use Azure Policy’s compliance dashboard to monitor and report on compliance status. Automate Remediation: Where possible, automate the remediation of non-compliant resources. This can be done using Azure Automation or Azure Functions to apply necessary changes automatically. Leverage Azure Arc: Extend Azure Policy guest configuration to on-premises and multi-cloud environments using Azure Arc. This ensures consistent policy enforcement across all your environments. Monitor and Update Policies: Continuously monitor the effectiveness of your policies and update them as necessary to address new threats or compliance requirements. Stay informed about updates to Azure Policy and guest configuration capabilities. Documentation and Training: Document your policies and procedures clearly. Train your IT staff to ensure they understand how to implement and manage Azure Policy guest configuration effectively.219Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Applied Skills: Build collaborative apps for Microsoft Teams will retire Sept 2

Azure offers a vast array of cloud services, but managing those services can lead to unexpected costs. The good news is that there are well-defined practices you can implement to optimize your Azure spending and ensure you’re getting the most value. Here’s a breakdown of key strategies to consider: Eliminate Waste: Shut Down Unused Resources Azure resources like virtual machines (VMs) that are left idle continue to accrue charges. Utilize Azure Advisor, a built-in service, to identify inactive resources and power them down when not in use. Rightsize Underutilized Resources Not all resources require top-of-the-line specifications. Analyze your VM usage with Azure Advisor's recommendations. You can often scale down to a smaller VM size and save on costs without impacting performance. Leverage Committed Use Discounts Azure offers significant savings for predictable workloads through Reserved Instances and Savings Plans. With these options, you prepay for a certain level of compute resources for a set term (one or three years) at a discounted rate compared to pay-as-you-go pricing. Optimize Storage Costs Azure Storage provides various tiers – hot, cool, and archive – suited for different data access frequencies. Hot storage is ideal for frequently accessed data, while cool and archive tiers are more cost-effective for less frequently used information. Embrace Automation for Cost Management Setting up automated rules can streamline cost optimization. Azure allows you to configure alerts for exceeding spending thresholds and automate VM shutdowns during non-working hours. Cultivate a Culture of Cost Awareness Educate your team on cost-saving practices. Encourage responsible resource allocation and promote shutting down unused resources. Monitor and Refine Continuously Cloud environments are dynamic. Regularly assess your resource usage and costs. Azure Cost Management tools offer detailed insights to help you identify areas for further optimization. By implementing these best practices, you can significantly reduce your Azure expenses without compromising performance. Remember, cost optimization is an ongoing process. As your cloud usage evolves, stay vigilant and adapt your strategies to maintain an efficient and cost-effective Azure environment.254Views0likes0Comments
