I am currently using Acronis for Server, Hyper V and Workstation Backups. Backup to Disk, as well as Tape libraries. I have a new subscription for Partner Expanded Benefits, and was wondering about using System Center DPM to perform my backups, as it would allow backup to Azure cloud (would use some of the 4k$ credits for this). Currently Acronis needs a separate subscription to allow this. Using DPM would save the annual maintenance costs that are being incurred with Acronis. My question is, only System Center 2022 is being offered with the Expanded Benefits. Is there some reason that 2025 is not offered. I would like to make sure that I will not be left in limbo if I were to switch to DPM, and then support/licensing in Expanded benefits is discontinued. As some follow up question a) has anyone else gone this route, and replaced a commercial backup software Veeam, Acronis etc with DPM. What has been your experience. b) How good is tape library support c) Online Azure backup - is it easy to implement, and does it work well (in my case, I would probably just backup up straight to Archive level storage, as I would use my own Disk and Tape as the primary backup locations, so cost should be minimal for many TB of dataPartner Assistance
Hi, We are a Microsoft Partner and working collaboratively with other Microsoft partners and customes with all sorts of varying Microsoft Solutions and Azure migrations. More and more of these as an ECIF supplier. We are always being asked who is our Microsoft FTE Sponsor or PDM Manager, but we dont have any points of contact at Microsoft. Previously there use to be an ASK partner help line that you could call to get help as a Microsoft Partner. We are looking to deepen our relationship with Microsoft and are struggling because we lack any contacts. Can anyone advise where or how we can get help to improve our Partner relationship with Microsoft to ultimately help us sell more Microsoft solutions?Problems Registering for the Hardware Program
Hello! Over a week ago I found, that my organization account for some reason disappeared/deleted without notification and I couldn't log in to it anymore... Last year our company participated in the Hardware Developer program, had the verified Developer profile, and successfully submitted the hardware programs. Just after that, I registered the organization again, entered the same company data for the verification, and also passed the Developer verification again very quickly, then clicked to participate in the Hardware Program again. For some reason, I still don't see the Hardware Program active in my account, but together with that I can't activate it again in the list of available programs. So it is not active and I can't select it to activate it... I created a support ticket 10 days ago and I still waiting for the resolution... I have tried to ask what is the issue, but received a response - "Account Verification is still under review". After that, I asked another question about the issue and how much time will it take to resolve it - but received no response... Could someone explain what happened? Why the organization was deleted? Why after successful Developer profile verification the support team tell, that verification is still going on? Why I don't see the Hardware program dashboard if I have activated it already?Billed invoice reconciliation API v2 legacy support
Hi, we are just in the transition to the new Billing recon API. We noticed that we are able to get data for invoices from the NCE model but not for invoices from legacy CSP. In detail: POST request to https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/reports/partners/billing/usage/billed/export is successful (202 Accepted) The following GET request to https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/reports/partners/billing/operations/[GUID] is successful on the HTTP Layer (200 OK) but the status is failed: { "@odata.context": "https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/$metadata#reports/partners/billing/operations/$entity", "@odata.type": "#microsoft.graph.partners.billing.failedOperation", "id": "...", "createdDateTime": "...", "lastActionDateTime": "...", "status": "failed", "error": { "message": "No reconciliation data available currently for Invoice D.... Please try again later.", "code": "5000" } } The same flow (same auth token, etc.) with a NCE invoice works successful. I didn't find any documentation if legacy CSP is even supported on the new API or not. Maybe someone can confirm this. And if it should work maybe someone can give details to the error recieved above.SolvedPartner Center API: Getting subscription usage count
Goal: Given a customerId, skuId, and productId for a specific microsoft license check the usage data (i.e. how many used / unused licenses) for that license. Examples: skuId = "0004" productId = "CFQ7TTC0JXCZ" Steps taken so far: I can pull down a customer's subscriptions via https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/partner-center/manage-orders/get-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-subscriptions. The response contains a skuId and productId, so I can filter the response to find the license I'm interested in. However, the https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/partner-center/manage-orders/get-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-subscriptions#microsoft.partner.core.collections.resourcecollection[microsoft.partner.services.subscriptions.v1.models.subscription] does not contain any information about license usage. It contains the total quantity associated with the subscription but doesn't specify the number of licenses used. I can use a different https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/partner-center/manage-customer-accounts/get-subscribed-skus#microsoft.partner.providers.contracts.v1.productsku to pull down all the subscribed skus for a specific customer. This endpoint does return the license usage information that I want, but it doesn't return the desired productId and the returned skuId doesn't match the pattern I expect. It also returns a skuPartNumber that isn't helpful to mapping back to my input skuId and productId I'm stuck, so any support would be much appreciated! Thank you! What happens to Perpetual licenses when you remove a partner relationship?
Good morning! We are a CSP partner, and we have a customer that we are removing the relationship with. The customer wants to go direct from Microsoft in the future, not transfer the relationship to a different partner. They have Windows RDS server CAL's through us on a perpetual license, all other subscriptions have been removed. Are their any ramifications to the perpetual licenses for removing the reseller relationship? What kind of process do I need to follow / are their any snags to look for? thanks, MattApp has been deleted from the shelves??
Hello, What's the reason that our product is deleted from the Microsoft Store? Please tell us what we should do. And we can't edit anything now, No one has responded to our message yet, and it's been two days already Why doesn't anyone help us with this problem? Please reply to us as soon as possible.Cloud Partner Portal API to Partner Center submission API migration question
Hello there! I'm migrating Partner Center integration from the Cloud Partner Portal API (CPP) to the Partner Center submission API's because the first one has been deprecated. Now I am struggling to retrieve Azure Virtual Machine Offer Information. I need to retrieve Plan data but cannot find a suitable endpoint. How do I achieve that? Can someone contact me?Solved
