System Center in Partner Expanded Benefits

I am currently using Acronis for Server, Hyper V and Workstation Backups. Backup to Disk, as well as Tape libraries.

I have a new subscription for Partner Expanded Benefits, and was wondering about using System Center DPM to perform my backups, as it would allow backup to Azure cloud (would use some of the 4k$ credits for this). Currently Acronis needs a separate subscription to allow this. Using DPM would save the annual maintenance costs that are being incurred with Acronis.

My question is, only System Center 2022 is being offered with the Expanded Benefits. Is there some reason that 2025 is not offered. I would like to make sure that I will not be left in limbo if I were to switch to DPM, and then support/licensing in Expanded benefits is discontinued.

As some follow up question

a) has anyone else gone this route, and replaced a commercial backup software Veeam, Acronis etc with DPM. What has been your experience.

b) How good is tape library support

c) Online Azure backup - is it easy to implement, and does it work well (in my case, I would probably just backup up straight to Archive level storage, as I would use my own Disk and Tape as the primary backup locations, so cost should be minimal for many TB of data
