This action won't work on multiple selections
sometimes when i tried to add sheet in windows or Mac manually or through code, i am receiving the following error "This action won't work on multiple selections".. I checked if multiple sheets got selected, but no. Please help how to resolve and what is the cause for this.MAC- Excel Add-in (.xlam) default location to load
Is there any default location to load .xlam add-in by default on excel opening. the way we have XLSTART folder in windows, do we have any way in mac. currently in mac- we are browsing for add-in from any location(Tools - Excel Add-ins... -> browse).Mac - Data from web using REST API URL
In Mac we have option called, “From HTML” in “DATA” Tab of Excel-2016. We can get data which doesn’t need username and password which are already linked with Excel. Further, in Data tab we have “Get External Data” – “Run Web Query”, which stores the URL in text file which have extension “.iqy” format. Which also gets data which doesn’t need credentials. Is there any way to pass the credentials along with "Data- From HTML", like i wanted to add "Authorization", ContentType" as headers.
combing several work books into one
I am new to 2016 Excel, and find it very different from my previous version. I would like to combine all of my 2018 workbooks in excel to one year end 2018 work book. I only ever had to click on a work book, and move it into the one i wanted with the last version. I have spent far to much time trying to figure out how to do it with this new version. Someone please give me simple direction to complete this. Thanks
Excel 2016 - Performance degradation opening Excel
Hi, I am using Excel 2016 - 64 bits, on Windows10 - 1703 Version. - After migration of few excel with charts from ShareDrive to OneDrive , I am getting errors as "Excel found unreadable content in '[filename.xlsx]'. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes" When Clicked - "Yes" - The excel goes into repaired mode and charts are lost. with error message : Repaired Records: Drawing from /xl/drawings/drawing1.xml part (Drawing shape)" Similar issue is mentioned for 2010 : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2384361/performance-degradation-opening-excel-workbooks Do we have resolution for version 2016. We need charts to be present after the migrated to OneDrive.
