combing several work books into one

I am new to 2016 Excel, and find it very different from my previous version. I would like to combine all of my 2018 workbooks in excel to one year end 2018 work book.  I only ever had to click on a work book, and move it into the one i wanted with the last version. I have spent far to much time trying to figure out how to do it with this new version. Someone please give me simple direction to complete this.
