Recently, after locking my screen (either manually or automatically), Windows 11 Pro will sometimes ask for my password instead of my PIN, the latter of which is my preferred method of logging in. After the most recent update (see below), it only prompts for the PIN sometimes, and other times it prompts for the password. It always gives me the option of using a PIN instead by clicking "sign-in options", so it doesn't appear to be some sort of security update.
Is this intended behavior or is something amiss?
