Trouble with Garmin Drive App Crashing on Windows 11 PC

I've been utilizing the BlackVue Windows Viewer on my PC for about a year now without any issues. Recently, I got the new Garmin dash camera, and unexpectedly I'm encountering a frustrating problem. The Garmin Drive App, which I rely on to view my Garmin Mini 2 recordings on my PC, keeps crashing. This has become quite a hassle, especially since I need to configure it for my wife's car.


I'm hoping someone here can help me troubleshoot this persistent issue. I'm at a loss as to why the Garmin Drive App for my new dash camera crashes repeatedly on my Windows computer. I'm concerned because I have plans for a long drive soon, and having a functional dash camera is crucial for ensuring my safety on the road.


I've already tried the basic troubleshooting step of uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but unfortunately, it didn't resolve the problem. My PC runs the latest Windows 11 and I'm reaching out to this community in the hope of finding a solution or any tips to resolve this before my upcoming journey. Your quick assistance would be immensely appreciated.

Open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
Try uninstall the driver and restart your PC and then run Windows Update and see if any update will offer from Windows Update for this and if yes, try it and see if it works?


The issue at hand is quite extensive, as I've encountered similar problems with other Garmin applications. Specifically, the Express app also fails to launch or open on a Windows computer, which echoes the difficulties I faced with the Garmin Drive app.

Similar to the guidance you provided, this article also indicates that the solution might lie in installing the latest Microsoft Windows updates. Fortunately, I've noticed that there are pending updates on my PC.
