Re: No reply from support on my case
Hi JillArmourMicrosoft So, finally had the time to come back here ^^ I would like to thanks you for your help and follow up regarding this case. Support finally contacted me to explain there was a huge backlog so I was not contacted in time. Unfortunately, I learned that, for a case opened by a partner, the Operating System must be in mainstream support, not in extended support, which is the situation for Windows Server 2019. I was able to work on the issue with a great engineer who guided me through several checks and we agree on a plan to upgrade the servers in WS2022. If the issue is coming back, I will then open a new case Have a great day and thanks again ;-) GeraldInbox / Private messages broken on my profile
Hi, I'm trying to get informations regarding a case I opened 2 months ago and they are sent through private messages I can't open. I see that I have 97 unread messages but when I click on the icon, it just open the Inbox, try to load something for a while then just give up, leaving me there. Before someone tries to tell me that this is a cookie or cache issue, it is happening on several browsers, using normal or InPrivate session and on multiple computers so the problem is not there. After searching, it seems that I'm not the only one having this issue. Could someone have a look at it so I can reply to the people from Microsoft asking me informations in PM and not forcing me to ping them on LinkedIn? Hi Jill, Sorry, been on some kind of CritSit for 2 days already (even I'm not PFE anymore ^^) as we have a badly crypto-locked client. Just saw your message but no idea why, I see I have 97 mails in this Tech Community Inbox but the interface doesn't load them. Is the support asking for our tenant ID linked to Microsoft Partner? For the record, I was finally contacted last Thursday by an engineer but I was in a medical appointment at that time. I've replied on Friday morning but no response from him at the moment. Hi Jill, So I've wait almost another 3 weeks without being contacted. As a former PFE, I even tried to contact some people I still know at Microsoft Belgium but nothing. Does I have to tell my client that we will have to completely destroy their 4 nodes cluster because I can't get support to fix their issue? It's been almost 2 months it is not patched because the CSV crashed the last time we tried Gérald146Views0likes0CommentsNo reply from support on my case
Hello, Is the Services Hub for partners deprecated? I've created a case (2412110050003195) using my partner account mid-december 2024 and I still haven't been contacted by Microsoft about it. Could someone have a look at my request and at least give me a feedback ? Kr, GeraldSolvedRe: windows 11 widget language issue
Doesn't work. It only change the way the website shows info. For Belgium, Microsoft had this issues for years... I remember MSN Messenger installed in Dutch on my English Windows just because the regional settings were in French (Belgium). Now we also have English (Belgium) but it still not work. The only to fix this is to put the interface in French, which is a no go for me as an IT guy. So Widgets are definitely disabled for me on Windows... As anything that try to be displayed in Dutch1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: IE Mode "Not Secure" on some parts of intranet site
I think I found the explanation. Using the debugging tools in Internet Explorer, I found this error, which is indeed linked to the video posted in the article: Why is IE Mode triggering a security issue if others browsers are ignoring it? It seems that IE mode is more strict than other browsers and this should be tuned. The gpo can't be used here to hide the message because this is not Edge reporting the security issue but IE Mode. Gérald16KViews0likes8CommentsRe: IE Mode "Not Secure" on some parts of intranet site
When a end user see this, he don't understand why his intranet is not secure. We are in the middle of the migration from IE to Edge and it's not possible to promote a new Microsoft Browser if the built-in tools report errors we can't explain and that Chrome don't report. It's hard to explain to an end user that it's because it's IE mode blablabla... The user don't care about technical issues, he just see an error and think this new browser is not reliable. Kelly_Y I already tested the first link and it doesn't work with our issue. If I understand correctly the explanation, this is used to hide the "Not Secure" message on websites that can't or don't use TLS. I don't want to hide it, I want to know why only IE mode report that this new article is "Not Secure" on the SharePoint, who is using TLS and has a valid certificate because it will happen again. Maybe something you can report to the PG it that it's a bit disturbing to have your browser pretending that your site is not secure but when you click on the error, you see nothing that explain why you have this error.17KViews0likes10CommentsIE Mode "Not Secure" on some parts of intranet site
Hello, I'm trying to understand why Edge IE Mode is reporting that a new article on our SharePoint is "Not Secure". Opening the article under IE, Chrome or Edge (without IE Mode) doesn't give the error so only IE Mode think that something is wrong. The only thing I see using Fiddler is a "HTTP/1.1 416 Requested Range Not Satisfiable" message about a video embedded in the page, could this be the issue? Should be nice to have a troubleshooting tool for IE Mode as we can't start the developer tools Gerald18KViews0likes12Comments
