MindyAllison I saw in the slides of the Community Call ( a shame that it had to be cancelled or I would have asked in the chat) that the plan is to include in the Title Plan at least if there is an EXAM or an APPLIED SKILLS Assessment - but it was not in Jan 16th version. Hello @Mindi - The title plan shows that 4 new courses will come out this week that have a "4 digit" logic e.g AZ-1005. Since they are NOT Applied skills here my questions: a) Will they lead to a certification ? They do not start with "0" like AI-050T00-A so I assume yes ? Or did that logic change ? b) How to position them against Applied Skills ? I know taht Applied Skills are looking at a certain topic in depth, but what will those 1 day courses then do differently ? Mindy_Allison thanks for replying - indeed the discrepancy is not only for MD-102 but for SC-300 and lots of other courses. Depending on from where you access them ( the link we as Training Services Partner should use as it includes our MPN ID or if you look for the Exam and go to self paced content there) My MCTs tell me that the content you access through the Exam page is more up to date than the other and it results in questions and looks unprofessional. This happens with a lot of courses, the best way would be to show the same content through both links - preferably of course the same way the MCT material is structured. Thanks for sharing, I have some questions on the new courses: NEW COURSES • AI-050T00 was this DP-050T00 and has been renamed ? • MD-102Too I guess still no news ? I cancelled our course that was planned for beginning of July, but we do have the next planned beginning of August and my MCT would really like to prepare as we really have a lot of interest! • MS-721T00 is not on the latest Become Microsoft Certified poster which by the way still dates MARCH…but is this a specialty or standard Associate level ? OTHER • MB-320 will retire, I am not sure if it will be replaced with MB-335 ? MB-335 is an EXPERT class though, MB-320 was Associate and together with MB-300 the two exams you had to hold to get the certificate THANK YOU Mindy_AllisonPL-100 - Issue with labs due to missing trial licenses by Microsoft
We had a challenge with a PL-100 class that we were delivering last week in Europe. There was an issue our instructor already had when preparing the lab – he then reached out to the ALH support and they could help fix this for him, so we felt it was all good for the course. Now two weeks later in the class the students had the same issue. According to the ALH support team/product manager this is an issue that Microsoft currently has in providing Power Apps trial licenses – which is really concerning me as we were not aware and it does heavily influence the training delivery experience (also making us look bad) Have you been experiencing this in the past and will this continue ? Is this a known issue and which classes/labs might be concerned ? Have you been looking into this ? Short answer from ALH ( happy to provide more if needed) We have determined that Microsoft is currently failing to provision Power Apps trial licenses in the EU region. By default, labs are hosted in the location nearest the user, and thus your class' lab instances have been subject to the Microsoft issue just mentioned.
