Search all list items no matter which view is currently selected (SharePoint Online)
Hi, I would like to improve my search bar's scope at the top of a site's page. When I'm on a list view that shows all items for the list, I can type a query in the top search bar and it will find the items I'm looking for. When I'm viewing a more filtered list view, however, if I search the same query it can't find the result because it's not in that particular list view. How do I get the search bar to ignore what list view is currently selected, and still search all items? All help appreciated, thanks.606Views0likes0CommentsMultiple FIND functions
Hi, I would like to expand on this formula in my SharePoint Online list calculated column: =IF(ISNUMBER(FIND("v",[Column1])), "OK", "Not OK") I would like to find multiple different separate sections of text, e.g. when 'v' or 'ab' or 'de' is present, to return 'OK'. Is that possible? Thanks.Solved2.6KViews0likes2CommentsRe: SharePoint Online list with 1 day retention policy still showing 3 days of items
Hi olegmelnikov, thanks for your reply. Since it's possible to also set retention policies at a list/content-type level, I'm not quite understanding where that article provides an answer to my issue sorry.2.4KViews0likes1CommentSharePoint Online list with 1 day retention policy still showing 3 days of items
Hi, I have a SharePoint Online list set up with a 1 day retention policy - I set this up under List settings > Information management policy settings: Content Type Policy: Item. In 'Edit Policy' I have 'Enable Retention' ticked, and event of Created Date + 1 days has an action of 'Move to Recycle Bin' with no recurrence. The retention policy seems to be kicking in, but it's still keeping stuff from two days ago (so in the 'Created' filter on the list, you can see items with T-2 days, T-1 day and Today). Is there a way I can optimise to make it as strictly as possible delete items from more than 24 hours ago? My list has thousands of items hitting it a day, so I don't think a Power Automate will be the best way to deal with it, but happy to be convinced otherwise. All help appreciated, thanks.2.5KViews0likes3Comments
