Teams Room Licencing
I have 9 Microsoft Teams Room devices which are all licensed for Microsoft Teams Room Pro and i can confirm this in the Teams admin portal and the Microsoft Admin Center under billing and licences. However upon enrolling my devices to the Microsoft Teams Room portal (https://portal.rooms.microsoft.com/) it reports all peripherals etc ok but in the licence column it shows as Unlicensed. Does anyone know how to update this to show the correct licencing? I attach a screenshot of these areas all showing the correct licencing but the portal rooms isnt picking this up Many Thanks Barrie630Views0likes1CommentNotifications for Ad-hoc meetings
Hello We appear to have instances whereby a recurring teams meeting is created, then a user outside the normal group is invited to attend one of the meetings as a one-off. however it now appears this extra user receives notifications for all teams chats that relate to the meeting they were invited to, despite them only needing to attend the once. This could potentially mean confidential / sensitive information be shared in the chat and this person would have visibility despite not being part of the normal recurring meeting Is there a way round this? the current notification setting for teams is 'mute until i join or send a message'Solved1.4KViews1like2CommentsMicrosoft Teams Application mis-match
Hello For some bizarre reason, when accessing Microsoft Teams via the desktop app, it does not appear to be 'in sync' correctly, in respect for example i have a wiki tab and onenote tabs in my channels but they do not show in the Teams Desktop app or when accessing the web app via Internet explorer If i go to https://teams.microsoft.comin google chrome, i see all my channels and tabs as i expect Surely something is not right here833Views0likes1CommentRe: Teams Standalone Outlook Addin
HiRealTime_M365 Many thanks for getting back to me, let me check this out On connecting to OWA i do not see any options for a Calendar on the left where i would expect to, also i will need to see if this service is enabled for using teams with OWA I think this would throw some users off as they prefer the on prem outlook and so we may have to install teams on our RDS services for this purpose Thanks again82KViews0likes5CommentsTeams Standalone Outlook Addin
Hello all Hope everyone is safe and well I am wondering if it is at all possible to install the Microsoft Teams add-in for outlook as a standalone without having to install the full Microsoft Teams software on our servers for the users. We currently use Microsoft Remote Desktop Services as our VDI Environment for users to log onto, from previous teams installations the performance of teams almost stalled the servers and hence we had to uninstall teams which brought performance to normality. As we currently use teams via the https://teams.microsoft.comvia the browser which works well for use without the video aspect, i wanted to see if the MS teams add-in is available separately without having to install the full software Also i cannot see a 'lightweight' version of teams out there for an RDS deployment that i can see Any pointers would be welcome83KViews1like11Comments
