Data visualization from excel table: Tree diagram / Hierarchy
Dear Excel community I have a table in excel that contains information on different hierarchical levels (category, sub-category and sub-sub-category levels). I would now like to visualize the data in a more digestable way, ideally in a treemap, where I can see the hierarchy more easily. Snapshot extract of my data: Leftmost column = Category Middle column = Sub-Category Right colum = Sub-Sub-Category Ideally I want to create a visualization like the one below (illustrative) where my data from the table can be shown similar to this with same logic, category, sub-category, sub-sub-category. Do you have any ideas on how to do that (ideally not manually typing in everything myself, but creating a visualization automatically based on selected data)? Best and thanks already for the support๐ Thomas19KViews0likes7CommentsTree diagram / Hierarchy based on Excel Table

Dear Excel Community I'm trying to extract data from a table with merged cells into a new table (that doesn't include merged cells). This is an extract of the table I want to extract data from: And this is how it should look like: Is there a good way (ideally with formulas) to extract the data as explained? Ideally the data in the new table should also be updated automatically, in case of any changes made to the text in the original table. Really appreciate your tips ๐ Best, Thomas6.8KViews0likes3CommentsExtract value from row that fulfills multiple criteria
Dear experts I would like to extract a specific value from a cell based on multiple criteria that need to be true in the same row. Simplified example based on screenshot below: Goal: Extract value of yellow cell (10) based on three criteria that all need to be true: (1) Country = Spain (2) Year = 1972 (3) Product type = Shutters Which formula would allow me to extract this value from a large table?
