Re: New item form showing up in classic experience
When I copy the link and paste it directly into a new browser tab it opens in classic. Tried several browsers with the same result. Did your test include content types? I have other lists that do not have content types and they work fine.3.1KViews0likes0CommentsNew item form showing up in classic experience
I have a SharePoint Online list in modern experience with 7 content types. I customized the new forms for each content type with JSON. Everything works perfectly when I am in the list and click New and choose my content type from the dropdown. However, I want to create a page for others to interact with this list and I want to create buttons for each content type that will open the new form for that content type. When I copy the link from the form to create the button, it opens the form in the classic experience and all my customizations are gone. I am using the method "Copy Link" inside the new modern form (see screenshot). Any insights on this would be very helpful, thanks!3.2KViews0likes3Comments"Edit" document Properties not showing in library web part
I added a document library web part on a page but "Properties" is not displaying as an option in the file menu. Users upload their documents straight to the library web part, but SharePoint Online no longer prompts the user for metadata (even if fields are required or using content types). So after they upload the document, the user needs to edit the properties. However, when I click on the ellipse, the menu is limited and does not give me the option to view/edit file properties. The "Properties" option DOES appear in the file menu in the library itself, however. I know there are other ways to edit properties (clicking the "i" icon or edit in grid mode, but those are less user-friendly/intuitive. Am I missing something? Why can't I navigate to "Properties" from the file menu in a library web part? I also can't see other options like Version History or Manage Access. OldWarwick Thanks for the reply and insights! The remaining approvers ended up getting notified a little later once others completed the approval (thus permitting the concurrency limit to move to the next approver). So all was good in the end, but good to know this for the future too.How to edit approvers in an ongoing approval flow
I have an exiting flow that is currently running that has variable approvers (defined with a SharePoint lookup list of the user's names and associated email addresses). It works just fine however I didn't realize the concurrency control was set to 15. My current flow has 20 concurrent approvers so people who were 16-20 on the list did not get assigned the approval. Is there a way to modify the existing flow so these users can provide their response? I've already increased the concurrency for future runs but it is important that these users can respond the one already in progress. I already had them check the "My Approvals" in Power Automate (there are none listed) so they were not assigned the task.Solved
