Differing versions of Microsoft Lists
Hi, I manage four Microsoft Lists that are stored on the same Sharepoint site within our organisation. Until this week, all four were using the version of Lists that was introduced last year; with the tabbed UI for views, the multi-user editing indicator etc, however two of the lists have spontaneously reverted to the previous version without these features. I can see no obvious reason why two of the lists would have reverted. Unfortunately I don't have administrative permissions but can anyone suggest any possible reasons/fixes? My guess it is something at Microsoft's end that I hope will spontaneously correct. Thanks,761Views0likes3CommentsMultiple conditional statements in list validation
Hi, I am trying to create a list validation formula that passes validation when the following conditions are met: 1) [Action] column length is less than 500 characters OR 2) [Outcome] column is not blank when [Status] column does not equal “Complete”(i.e. I want to require an entry in [Outcome] if the [Status] equals @ “Complete”). I’ve been trying to get both conditions working on their own before attempting to combine. The first condition above I’ve solved with =LEN((Action)<500). The second condition above I can’t get to work at all. Any help coming up with the formulas and combining would be greatly appreciated.Solved5.6KViews0likes1CommentSet max character limit in Lists multi-line column
Hello, I have a multi-line column in a Microsoft Lists list and users are putting too much text in it. I would like to set a maximum character limit to prevent this (for example 500 characters). Can anybody advise how I would do this? ThanksSolved14KViews0likes7CommentsFiltering in Lists - multiple values required
Hi, I have a metadata column called ‘RENGEN Tags’ in a List that contains words and phrases that serve as tags to describe each item in the List. For example: Item 1 ‘RENGEN Tags’ values: Tag A, Tag B, Tag C Item 2 ‘RENGEN Tags’ values: Tag A, Tag E, Tag F Item 3 ‘RENGEN Tags’ values: Tag A, Tag C, Tag G I would like to be able to use the filter function to show a list of cases that have all tags specified. For example, show all cases with Tag A AND Tag C. In this case it would show Items 1 and 3. At the moment however using the column filter function and ticking the boxes next to the individual tags shows cases with Tag A OR Tag C, which is not what I want. Is there any way to change this behaviour, ideally within the standard Lists functionality, although I do have some experience with Power Automate. thanksSolved11KViews0likes3Comments
