How can I write this as a formula?
Hi I've done a survey of two seperate locations - location A has 12 employees and location B has 5 employees. The staff at location B scored as total of 24 for their 'issues related answers' and the staff at location A scored 36. Despite Location A having the greater number given the amount of employees that location B - they're more at risk. How can I show this in a formula?Tally if statement
Hi I'm not sure if I've selected the right functions but what I want basically is: If B3:B7 says Sedan and C3:C7 says EXACT and D3:D7 says yes + 1 for each time it specifies this. The formula I have does most of that except the tallying part. How can I fix this? Attached is an example.Count data depending on what's in another column
Hi I want to tally my data depending on what it says in the other column. Attached is dummy example but basically if it say's yes I want it to add +1 to the total in the relevant column. If it says no, however, I don't want it to add to the total. Can this be done? Hi I'm trying to write an if statement to remove any zeros that display when the cell in the other linked work book is blank. The cell in the other workbook with be filled with text not numbers or dates, however. Here is my statement so far but it's returning a value error =IF('[workbook1.xlsx]sheet1'!A1,'[workbook1.xlsx]sheet1'!A1,"") How can I fix this?Can I see who exactly edited, removed what from the file?
Hi This might seem like a silly question but we have a shared file at work and people keep removing stuff from the sheet and changing it. Problem is we don't know who and we need it to stop. Is there anyway of seeing more of a record of this other than who was in the file?Re: How can I split within a single cell?
Not two cells, my work has this spreadsheet and with previous entries made by others into the table on the sheet one of the columns of the table would split the information within the cell. But when I've made entries this is now not happening for some reason. This is important because it connects to a lookup function and so it's not finding the information it's supposed to and in return makes my job much harder.Read only fix
Hi I've uploaded some workbooks to one drive. These workbooks are linked and will be opened up on desktop through excel online as it has spin buttons and a refresh button powered through VBA. I've shared them with a colleague but she can only open it up as read only, I also don't see her in the sheets. What am I doing wrong? I really need this to be functional. We have the full version of office 365.read only access sharepoint

Hi There is no option for me to get data from sheet in Excel but I know this option exists for power query. The only options I get are get data from - text/csv, web, table/range and then there is also the get data tab that has more options but none of them are that. Hi I have a list of charge amounts. Some of these amounts have be paid and so they're marked YES, some of the charges have been waved and so they have been marked WAVED and some have not been paid so they're marked NO. I need to put together a formula that adds up all the charges but subtracts those marked WAVED and YES.Excel online sharing through desktop
Hi This may sound like a bit of a silly question but If I upload a file to excel online, then I and someone else access the file but use it in the desktop app, will it retain its multi user sharing properties? The reason I ask is I need the developer tab but I also need other people to make changes to the file at the same time.
