SP Online UI bugs only in libraries
Hello there, four month ago, after an UI update from Microsoft, we started to experience bugs with the SharePoint Online UI, exclusively with libraries. For example it is not possible to view the item history of a selected document, the click is just ignored. On the initial loading of any library, checking the browsers console, while clicking on "version history", nothing happens, no event, no error. Only some tracking data, i assume, is send to "https://eu-mobile.events.data.microsoft.com/OneCollector/1.0". However, if we navigate to a list first and then to a library. Everything works as normal. Some resources seem now to be loaded, which previously didn't happen. We have a very basic SP Online environment with minimal customizing. I can not figure it out, the Microsoft support told me to ask here and we are to small of a company to open a paid ticket. If anyone has an idea of what's going on here, it would mean a lot. Also we are willing to pay money to have this fixed, if you think you can fix it or know a company that can help, pls contact me. Thank you, Nico269Views0likes1CommentWhere to get support for SharePoint Online to fix UI bugs?
Hello, since a SharePoint Online update around two weeks ago, we experience UI bugs and crashes on some basic library views, this heavily interrupts our work. I contacted the default Microsoft support, but they can't help me. Where do i have to create a ticket to get someone knowledgeable to look at this and determine the cause of this issue? I don't mind paying money if it fixes the problem. Thank you Nico601Views0likes2CommentsUI Bugs in SP Online Libraries
Hello, since yesterday the UI of libraries is extremely buggy. After initially loading a library a lot of the library controls and functions in the top bar are not responding at all, we also use custom json buttons to open forms, for example: (action": "editProps"), these don't work either. These bugs only occur if you first open a document library or navigate fromdocument library todocument library. If you first open a list and then navigate to adocument library everything works normal. Also some users hadn't cleared there cache yesterday, they didn't encounter these issues. Testet on Edge and Firefox. Is anyone else encountering these abnormalities? Greetings Nico262Views0likes0CommentsAdvice on multi-lookup column list threshold workaround
Hello, Situation: We are tagging most our data in Sharepoint with project numbers via a multi-lookup column. Now some lists start to reach the threshold limit, and you can't index multi-lookup columns. Problem: Losing the functionality to filter, aggregate or sum by the project number is not an option. Neither is using a single-lookup column nor keeping the lists small. Possible Solution?: Are there any known best practices, so that the user can still filter and our pnp-js and pnp-powershell code can make use of an indexed column? By archiving the lists and libraries will cap at around 10 000 - 50 000 items. I was looking at making use of the term store, a workflow to automatically mirror the project numbers to the new column and a powershell script to update the term store. But before doing this, I wanted to ask more experienced users, if this makes sense and if there might be other solutions. Best wishes Nico2.1KViews1like4Comments
