Unable to get discount on MCT Exams

Copper Contributor

I am part of Microsoft Certified Trainer Alumni Program.  As per this program, one of the benefits is to get discount on MS exams. I previously have registered and received discount on MS tests but today when I attempted to register for the exam AZ-900 there was no discount option available at exam registration portal. I also noticed that my Microsoft ID was different than what it should be.

I have renewed my MCT Alumni program in February. Can you please investigate this matter and grant me the benefits offered within MCT Alumni program. I am anxious to take MS certification exams and be part of active certified professionals.

Your help is much appreciated.

Hi Ghalib, thanks for reaching out. This forum supports the Training Services Partner ecosystem. If you have MCT-specific questions, please visit and post in the MCT Lounge. The mods there are intimately familiar with the MCT program and should be able to address your question.

Thank you Dan

I am unable to launch MCTlounge. Getting following error message

You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action.
Click your browser's Back button to continue.
Is there any phone number I can call and speak to someone. That would be much easier.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi, I am an MCT Regional Lead. To get access to MCT Lounge, you need to follow instructions here:

https://aka.ms/requestmctaccess

But as this is a technical issue, you need to reach out to the support:

MCT Support Forum (microsoft.com)

The Lounge will just refer you to training support forum. I have had the same issue, https://trainingsupport.microsoft.com/en-us/tcmct/forum/all/discount-not-added-when-registering-for-...
They eventually gave me a voucher, but afaik the underlying issue has not yet been resolved
