Labs Issues - Rolling Updates

Hello all,

We're working on ways to better update our partner ecosystem on issues with labs. Until we have a more sustainable and scalable solution, I will provide updates to this pinned thread.

July 29

Impact: 365 Defender Lab set to release 7/31. A bug is causing issues in activating the M365 Connector for the Security for AI service. User cannot proceed past trial activation window. Issue has been escalated, no time to resolution yet.
Impact: AB-210, AB-250, and MB-230. Dynamics trial license issue, unable to redeem Sales license. Issue has been escalated, not time to resolution yet.

SC-500 - Where are the ALH Labs?

I just downloaded and reviewed SC-500 and Instructor Notes.

It seems the ALH Providers are not offering LABs for this course. Some Labs show "BYOS". That is not deliverable. No one has free SCU or Copilot for Security Licenses on stock for training.

Only slides, no exercises or only click thru simulations again. Please come on, not another one of that.

Can anyone give a tip, where and how fully functional tenants for ALL (including the "expensive" copilot stuff) labs are available?

Please, bear with me, as it took me 3 hours just to get navigated here for help.

I am taking IT courses with Coursera. I am not an IT professional...I am trying to change my career and my life.

I was taking Googles IT Support Specialist course, but after 4 days of classes, I came across a major roadblock: Outdated information on their QwikLabs setup.

The course was at least a year behind, the Demo on how to use Qwiklabs was seriously outdated, and Google has changed Qwiklabs into a "Pay to Create" gimmick that really doesn't work for anyone that is a Student, imo. $25+ to create a project, per project, and then 3 cents an hour while its running, can build up really fast.

It was also changes and charges that Coursera was unaware of.

So, how does this relate?

I want to switch over to Microsoft IT Support courses and certification, but i want to make sure that its up to date, and that i won't run into another "out of the course" pay wall structure, because i really don't have that kind of money to throw around like that. It may not seem like a major deal to alot of people, but I am maintaining two households, on two continents, off one paycheck, and Im a kitchen employee...so Im sure alot of people can relate to how this is suddenly an issue.

Can anyone verify how up-to-date that course is, from Microsoft, on Coursera? Im trying to change my life, and its already upsetting finding i wasted a weeks worth of effort.

Questions on Partner Onboarding, PL-300 Training Workflow, Vouchers, and Certification Status

Hello,

We are a new Microsoft Partner and we are about to deliver our very first training courses preparing for the PL-300 certification.

To ensure our training session data is properly tracked and recorded by Microsoft, could you confirm if our planned workflow is complete?

Here is our current process:

Our MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) delivers the training to the learners, using the official Microsoft course material.
At the end of the course, we send the course completion validation link to all learners (to help compute performance KPIs).
We send the satisfaction survey via Metrics That Matter (MTM) (the link is sent to both the learners and the MCT).
We issue exam vouchers to the learners.

Specific Questions:

Microsoft states that we must use the official Microsoft Learn content, which is freely accessible. Are we allowed to supplement this official material with our own custom training content and exercises for our learners?
How does the voucher assignment process work on Pearson VUE? What specific information do we need to provide so that learners receive and can redeem them properly?
We would like to offer our learners the option to finance this training through France's CPF (Compte Personnel de Formation). However, the certification file on France Compétences appears as inactive (RS5445). Is a renewal or re-registration planned for the French market?
Can we publicly communicate our Microsoft Partnership (as a Training Services Partner) even if we have not yet reached the required KPIs listed in our Partner Center dashboard?

TSP Onboarding and Partner Center Access Questions- GSI Microsoft Partner

Hi There,

Quick question regarding our Microsoft TSP onboarding.

We submitted our onboarding request on June 5, 2026, but did not receive any updates until today (July 2, 2026), when my Microsoft GSI Skilling Lead helped connect me with your internal team. At that point, someone confirmed that our organization has now been onboarded as a TSP.

My question is: Should we expect to see any changes in Partner Center once the onboarding is completed? For example:

Should a TSP section or tab become available?Should we now see an option to purchase the TSP Action Pack or is that optional?
Are there any Partner Center permissions or configurations that still need to be completed on our side?

Additionally, I have a team in South Africa asking me to grant them access to Partner Center so they can manage TSP-related activities and track metrics. Before I proceed, I'd like to understand whether that access is actually required and whether I'm heading in the right direction.

Could someone please provide some guidance on the expected next steps and what we should be seeing in Partner Center following the onboarding?

Fix Implemented - Are You Having Achievement Code Issues?

July 27 - Fix has been deployed. It may take up to 24 hours to propagate through the system. If you don't see achievement code buttons return by Tuesday afternoon Pacific Time, please let me know. Also, make sure you're loading a refreshed version of the page (crtl + r).

July 24 - Deployment of fix is now scheduled for Monday, July 27th.

July 23 - Fix has been delayed while other fixes occur at the datacenter level. Awaiting details on a new timing for the fix. Will update here when I know more.

July 22 - Fix should start rolling out tonight. Please check the course page for the achievement code button (Hit crtl + r to refresh). Please let me know if you still do not see the button after July 23. Thank you.

July 18 - Good news today. Engineering has determined the issue, and a fix is coming in the early days of next week. I'll keep you updated when we get the fix implemented. Thank you for your patience.

July 15 - our engineering team is not seeing a widespread outage on their side, but they are continuing to investigate. If you are still experiencing an outage please send me a private message (please do not post any PII directly in this thread) with the following:

Your partner organization name (+ MPN ID if you know it)
Email address you're using to log into your Admin account on Learn
Which courses you were previously able to generate codes but no longer can (examples, doesn't have to be all of them)
Approximately how long you have not been able to generate the codes

I plan to update this thread every 2 days while we investigate the issue. Thank you!

July 13 - thanks to all that shared their current achievement code issues. The team continues to investigate but no current time to resolution.

July 1 - Hi all, I've seen a few posts regarding sudden issues in generating achievement codes. If this is an issue for you can you please reply to this with the course you're trying to generate and the approximate time you tried to generate? Trying to determine the scope of the problem.

If you previously had an issue but it appears to be resolved now, please let me know that as well.

AB-900 No achievement code

Hi,

We delivered AB-900 today. Logging into Learn with our TSP account to the AB-900 URL, there is no ability to generate achievement code. Checking other courses, no abiliy to generate achievement codes on them either.

Has something changed? Had no issues since being first enrolled when the program started years ago.

Please could someone help, or direct me to the required support channel

The new MD-102 and the missing labs

Hi.

This complete rewrite of MD-102 has been long underway and very much wanted. The new courseware arrived on time, but much to our disappointment, we discovered that labs will first arrive in the next 30-60 days.

Clients will not be happy with a 5 days course without labs.

If this is the new norm, then it will render the Courseware Title Plan useless, if we only get part of the course on the dates mentioned.

Updated Recording Policy - Effective Immediately

Hello partners,

We've spent the last few months collecting feedback to evolve our recording policy. Our goal is to open up opportunities for TSPs to record and distribute content to meet the learners where they are - which is not always live, instructor-led training. At the same time, we've aimed to strike the right balance by continuing to support MCTs to promote fair compensation and ensuring their perspectives remain integral to the process.

Below you'll find the new recording policy, effective immediately. This language will be incorporated into our TSP Program Guidelines document on the Learning Resources site in the near future. We'll review this language on the June 24th Community Call.

Updated Recording Policy

Microsoft Training Services Partners (TSPs) are permitted to record, distribute, and otherwise monetize Microsoft training content in formats that best serve their learners, provided they meet the requirements below.

Microsoft training content includes courseware, video, and other training materials developed by Microsoft. All training using Microsoft official content must be delivered by a qualified Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) in good standing.

Official Microsoft content may only be recorded and delivered by MCTs operating through an authorized TSP. Unofficial or non-Microsoft training content may be recorded and delivered independently by an MCT without TSP affiliation.

Partner Responsibilities and Content Governance

TSPs are responsible for ensuring that all recorded training content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned to the latest Microsoft courseware and product updates. Microsoft will be reviewing TSP-produced content at the company’s discretion and may require the removal or discontinuation of recorded content that is determined to be outdated, misaligned with current learning objectives, or no longer representative of Microsoft technologies or guidance.

KPI Eligibility

Recorded training content, including on-demand or pre-recorded offerings, is not eligible for Training Services Partner Program Key Performance Indicator (KPI) credit. KPI attainment remains tied to live, instructor-led delivery that meets established program requirements for quality, interactivity, and learner validation.

Privacy Compliance

All recording, distribution, and commercialization of training content must comply with applicable privacy laws, contractual obligations, and Microsoft intellectual property policies. TSPs are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from learners and MCTs participating in the recordings and ensuring lawful use and distribution of all recorded materials.

Metrics in Training Service Partner dashboard still shows not started

our TSP was on-boarded some months before, and it has now been more than some months since we started delivering training courses. We received the welcome email, completed all required formalities, and have delivered some trainings, and learners redeemed the achievement codes, and completed the surveys in MTM. All of these sessions appear correctly in, MTM surveys, and related dashboards.

However, in Partner Center it still shows “Not Started.”

Could you guys please review this and help us understand why the status has not updated?

Our organization has completed the Training Services Partner onboarding and Microsoft Learn Organization enrollment.

Username: ArgosystemsEcuador

Partner ID: 1160990

It has been more than 5 days since confirmation, and we are logging in with the correct Outlook Class Administrator account.

However, the "Request Achievement Code" option is not visible in any Microsoft Learn course. Instead, we only see the training provider search interface.

This suggests our account has not been properly enabled as a Microsoft Learn Admin.

Could you please verify and complete the activation?
