Inquiry about Becoming a Microsoft Learning Partner (Authorized Training Center)

Copper Contributor

Hello Tech Community,

Our organization, currently a Microsoft Legacy Silver partner with certified MCTs, is eager to transition into a Microsoft Learning Partner (MLP), an Authorized Training Center. We are seeking clarification on whether the term "Microsoft Learning Partner" is now synonymous with "Training Services Partner," as there seems to be some confusion.

In our initial steps towards this transition, we've followed guidance from partner support, which included:

1. Purchasing a Learning Action Pack: This step has been completed.
2. Using official Microsoft Courseware: We've utilized the "moc-title-plan-courseware-list," but we are unclear on how this affects Courseware completions – specifically the Base criteria in the Training Services Partner.

kindly answer my question and provide me with clear steps to take to become a Microsoft Learning partner (Authorized Training Center).?

Hello, Haneya!

You are correct that Learning Partners are now called "Training Service Partners", or TSPs. This was a change done over the course of 2023.

Great that you already have MCTs in your org, and also purchased the Learning Action Pack!
I believe you are referencing the documentation found here:
https://partner.microsoft.com/en-US/asset/collection/get-started-solutions-partner-for-training-serv...

You are actually already a TSP at this point, now you just need to start training!
(To confirm if your registration was successful, you can check for your action pack benefits. Also, you should now have a TSP dashboard in partner center.

For step 3, "Use Official Microsoft Courseware, Labs, and Exams", this means you will need to
1. Have MCTs download the slides from the Learning Download Center. Link can be found in the MCT Lounge.
2. Coordinate to have your labs provided by one of the 5 approved lab provider companies. I usually recommend people reference
https://assetsprod.microsoft.com/mpn/en-us/azure-pass-retirement-partner-faq.pdf
for the list of providers.
3. Create an achievement code. Steps in the documentation above.

If you have those above steps ready, then you can find learners and schedule the class in Metrics That Matter. To get credit as a TSP, remember you MUST have learners redeem achievement codes and fill out MTM surveys.

If you have more questions please reach out at anytime.
Good luck training!
