unhide horizontal scroll bar

When I search for an item in a Modern list, this message "expand the search for all items" hides the horizontal scroll bar and I'm unable to scroll to the right. This is really annoying for us. Do we have a fix for it. My users have a lot of columns and they do want to reduce the view or change to Classic SharePoint?
