Sharepoint UI update?

Brass Contributor

Hello,

I'm just wondering if there's anyone who noticed this change recently.

When you go to your Sharepoint site > Document library > Select a folder/file > Copy To/Move To. I am now getting this UI below:

However, for some users, they are still getting the old UI I believe.

I believe we haven't change anything in Sharepoint recently. Our tenant is not in Targeted release as well. Do you guys know if this can be switched via a setting in Sharepoint or is it just being rolled out? Thank you!

Yes, the new experience is rolling out now. It just may not have reached all of your users yet. See: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?featureid=85567.
Hello Susan,

Thank you for your response. This really helped us a lot.

I just have another question, we're seeing that other users are starting to have the same UI. I think there's no option to opt out in this. However, if this is how it will be in the future, we might as well familiarize using it.

But one main issue we have right now is that not all the sites are showing on the new UI vs the old UI. When selecting copy/move to files, on the old UI, all the other sites show up and you can move the files there. However, in the new UI, it's not. We tried to follow the other sites manually but it still didn't show up under Quick access?
You may need to wait before sites show up in Followed. In my tenant, I see both Frequent and Followed when I click More places ... in the Quick Access links on the left.
