SharePoint Online library video format

Hi,

 

Need a little help on the video formats that SharePoint Online library supports.

 

I found an article on formats that Office 365 video supports but from my understanding Office 365 video is a different app to play videos.

Is the video formats supported by Office 365 video and SharePoint Online library similar or does SharePoint Online library have a different set of supported formats?

    Yes they should be, however you must be aware that SPO is intended to store videos and not to provide the ability to reproduce them as you can do in Office 365 Video or Microsoft Stream
