gerhardbotha I have just updated to latest M365 Apps Current Channel - Version 2407 (Build 17830.20166) and this does NOT fix the issue for me. https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home#/servicehealth/:/alerts/SP861520Also, this does not suggest anything regarding updating Office Apps. I can confirm that adding to trusted sites DOES fix the issue but I have opened a case with MSFT stating that I am still experiencing the issue and want a back end fix, not a GPO to fix something THEY broke!
- Dante_MartinoAug 20, 2024Copper ContributorYou might be right. I just saw someone in this thread comment saying an Office 365 update resolved the issue. It may have been a coincidence, but some of my users updated O365 and the issue was no longer occurring. However I have another user who updated O365 and the issue persists. Very strange, nonetheless.

Dante_Martino I don't think the Office updates have anything to do with it. Yesterday, I updated to O365 Version 2407 (Build 17830.20166) and still saw the issue. My users are finally not getting the security warning prompt this morning, most likely because the backend fix has finally propagated to our GCC tenant. You'll notice that Microsoft never mentions anything about updating Office apps or adding to your trusted sites in here:

Dante_Martino Hi, it took a while however he solved it

Fortunately it was not a serious problem and so as I said from the beginning it had to be solved side them without temporary changes with policy. - Dante_MartinoAug 20, 2024Copper ContributorHi everyone. The recent update to Office 365 resolves the issue for my affected users.
Like many have shared in this forum, creating a Trusted Site did indeed resolve the issue, however I did not want to push this change to my users, and preferred to wait until Microsoft resolved the problem. It seems Microsoft released an update for Office 365. Installing this update resolve the issue without me having to use Group Policy to add the trusted site to the computers.
I am glad Microsoft resolved this issue. Thank you to everyone here for their valuable insight. - Tob95Aug 20, 2024Copper Contributor
Hi gerhardbotha, Do you mind sharing how it was fixed? We are experiencing the same issues.
- gerhardbothaAug 19, 2024Copper ContributorHappy to report that it's been fixed on my side now!
- gerhardbothaAug 19, 2024Copper ContributorJust ran an update again, still the same issue. And our site is on the trusted site list.
