Sharepoint and OneDrive Sync?

Apologies for this question being answered but i can't seem to find what i'm looking for. 

I have a task of connecting a Sharepoint site in one tenant to a OneDrive site in another tenant thru cloud only syncing, not with a OneDrive client app. We'd like to keep everything in the cloud but have the 2 sites communicating. one is this possible even in the same tenant? Let alone in 2 different tenants? Thank you for the help in advance!
