Save as dialogue for non-Microsoft applications does not allow saving to SharePoint
When you're in any Microsoft application, you can copy and paste the SharePoint web address and it navigates to that site in a few seconds.
However if you're in any other application, this error is displayed.
Why is there a difference and/or can we get around this?
- This will be due to the way the developers have implemented the file save as dialog box. The simplest work around is usually to add a OneDrive Short-cut, so you can navigate to the Library via Windows Explorer.
- I understand this but hoped for a workaround. I don't want to encourage syncing of all files, because keeping our users in SharePoint means greater uptake of the additional features it brings.
