Removing link between SharePoint and Teams

Hi, 

I think I know the answer, but I thought I'd ask and see if anyone know a way to do it.

I have been assigned a task around Archiving or Deleting Teams for my company. 

Unfortunately, when they created the SharePoint, they created and linked a Teams Channels (this is across multiple SharePoint Sites). They want to delete or Archive the Teams Group but not the SharePoint. Is there any way to do this?

As you well mention, there is not way to achieve this....when you archive/delete a Team your are basically archiving/deleting everything that it's related
