  I see evidence it was worked on and looks better. It's certainly usable now. I am assuming it's a temp fix until they can make it more ideal. Its vertically constrained, but better than broken. They should aim to make it look more like the classic page MMD editor.

    Just got an email from Support saying the issue has now been resolved. I tested in Chrome and for now it looks sorted!
