Login oauth2/v2.0/authorize

Copper Contributor

Greetings,

I am trying to get the Windows Login to enable a user to login.

I want to access SharePoint lists, not an App.

I have tried a number of approaches but get an error, not the option to add the user-id and password.

Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in.

Hi @Clive, your starting URL for a SharePoint could be this:

https://yourtenant.sharepoint.com/TheSiteYouHavePermission/TheListYouHavePermission

If you have permission to share that URL with others - internal user or external Guests - it depends on what your SharePoint Admin sets for Sharing Options on your SharePoint. If you can share - share it! Greets, Eva.

Hi Eva Vogel

Thanks for the message, apologies, I may have not explained it properly.

I need to access SharePoint using web authentication, providing a Username + password.

I don't get the Login form and/or not able to hard-code the username/password to login to SharePoint??

Clive

@Clives-online , did your SharePoint Admin give you a membership and a link to that sharepoint site? without membership you are not able to access a SharePoint, which is a restricted internal environment. If you want to access your Office 365 Portal, go to office.com on your Browser. Then you will get a login form to fill in your Users Name in that Office 365 Portal. If your Credentials are right, you get into the Office 365 Starting Page and then on the top left you have the 9 Dots Icon (O365 Button Tile) to access SharePoint in that Portal.

Hope that helps. If you dont have any infos from your Admin, you should immediately ask him or her.

Greets, Eva.
