Limit group options for column in List of type users/group

I have Column in list of type Group/Users

I want to restrict users to select only 4 sharepoint group out of number of groups.

when user type group name -its get autopopulated but user can select any group.i want to have restriction so user can select only 1 group from 4 group.

how can i do this?Users/group column dont have restriction.

and we can not create sub-group with in sharepoint groups.

@rautchetan27One option you can use is AD/Domain groups.

Step 1: Create 4 AD/Domain groups and add the users in it.

Step 2: Make sure those groups are synced to your SharePoint.

Step 3: Create SharePoint Group which and add the 4 AD Groups in to it. Because for SharePoint, AD/Domain groups are like users.

Step 4: Specify the SharePoint group so that user can only select the AD/Domain group members.
