How do you change your complete tenant, sites, templates to English Language?

HELP !

We are a small business running our sharepoint now 5 years in a default language set in "German" - now getting more international we want to transform everything into English .... POW !

that is hard.

- tenant changed to english ... some things changes ... system notifications are still in german

- subsite can be in english, but not standard sites

- task lists are in english - the content partially in german ... Email invites and notification to american colleagues ... in german ARggh!

- .... we were waiting for the 72h crawl ... nothing happened ... this has been a hard 10days now

- new sites ... do not appear as default in english ... translation happens at some points via personal settings ---

this is a nightmare

changing the language completely is our unique use-case ?

are we the only company transferring everything to english ... ?

@Johannes Kirchner The explanation is that your entire Office 365 tenant is hosted on a locale or language specific server - and this can never, ever be changed, according to Microsoft Support. We have the same issues - our tenant was created in Sweden (hence in Swedish) and now when we roll-out 365 to our global organization, users get Sharepoint notifications in Swedish. People are not happy.
