Old team site in SharePoint 2010 has an option to open a document file or folder in a new page or tab, but the new SharePoint online doesn't have that feature. Has Microsoft added that feature now? If not, what is the workaround to enable it?
Thank you,

SolutionManaging files and folders can often be easier when you work outside SharePoint, using Open with Explorer, but rather than use the Open with Explorer command, a better option is to sync your SharePoint files or move or copy files in SharePoint. With Open with Explorer (File Explorer), you can copy and move multiple files and folders between folders as you would on your desktop.
Note: SharePoint Open with Explorer uses ActiveX technology, so it's only supported in Internet Explorer. Open with Explorer doesn't work in Windows with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox, or on the Mac platform.
The ActiveX control is only needed when you're working with files in Windows File Explorer. Once you're done with File Explorer, you can then use any supported browser with SharePoint.
