One of my business users is trying to move a folder that an external user was given access to so the external user could load files. My business user is then trying to move that folder with the files uploaded from external user to an Internal only SharePoint site. However, when our business user tries to move the folder/files it gets a message that an error occurred but not what went wrong. We are wondering if we need to remove the external user permissions prior to moving the folder. I have asked my business user to try this the next time a folder needs moved.
