Document library preview links only render page 1

We have noticed that the document preview in SharePoint Online document libraries now only renders page 1 of the document.   If you select print on the preview window you can then see all of the pages.  Preview used to render all pages of the document.  Has anyone else seen this change, and is it a permanent change?

I'm having the same issue (Nov 2023).

We have a SharePoint site that hosts company docs and has worked great for the last 3 years. Today I got a call saying that only 1 page of each document will preview. For what its worth, most users have "view-only" access.

Did you happen to find a setting or fix to correct this?

Same issue here for docx files, even as a team owner with full control permissions.
I'm really starting to dislike the Office Online web apps...
