Column Assigned To (Person or group) not displaying values in any view

Hi,

we are facing an issue with a SharePoint list: the Assigned To column has values when viewing the item:

But when viewing the list, no value is displayed for this column:

We noticed this issue last week, before everything was ok.

Any hint?

@Xim How many total items are in this SharePoint list?

Try adding index on the Assigned to column once. Follow: Add an index to a SharePoint list or library column

@Xim Are you using SharePoint Online?

1. Can you try switching to modern experience once to test if data loads correctly? Go to List settings --> Advanced settings --> Set "List experience" to "New experience" and click OK to save the changes.
2. Do you have more than one "Assigned To" columns in the list by any chance?
3. Try adding sort (or filter) on the Assigned to column via list settings once.

Hi @ganeshsanap,

this is a Task list on Project Online, unfortunately cannot be changed to Modern experience.
