Changes not showing in Published View

Beginning last week I started noticing in SPO that when I edit a page specifically to change the color of a section or to make a section collapsed, the changes do not appear in the published version.  I have only noticed these two types of changes failing to update. I am the owner of the site.  Has anyone else come across this type of situation?
