Cannot add Approval Status (_ModerationStatus) to Document Library
In my test Document Library I cannot seem to to add the Approval Status (_ModerationStatus) column It is not there when I click on Show/Hide. I initially thought the Status column was ...
DJanssen24 Did you enable the approval settings on your document library?
Try this:
- Go to your document library
- Click on Settings (gear) icon from top right corner and click on Library settings
- Click on More library settings link from right side panel
- Click on Versioning settings link from document library settings page
- Set Require content approval to Yes and click OK:
- It will automatically add Approval Status column to your document library. If not, you can try to follow same steps using "Show or hide columns" setting to add column in library view after enabling "Require content approval" feature on library.
