can we limit groups name populated in group/users column in sharepoint list

I have column in List of Type Groups/Users

I want to restrict the groups which will get desplay for the selection,

I have three SP groups and I want user only get choice to select out of these three groups.

Currently if user type any initial characters, this field populate all groups...I want to restrict this with 3 groups only.
