Advanced Search Options Missing for Some Users

I have a document library that leverages Syntex to classify and extract documents. I noticed that I see the "Advanced Search Options" button while some of my users do not. Why is this?

Not sure. I believe this only shows up for Syntex licensed users for one. Other potential issue could be something in the browser (perhaps a blocker or older version of browser software)?

Licensing might be why. I have the Syntex license so I can model documents. Didn't realize you also needed it to get the Advanced Search Options.
