Add Sharepoint meta data to footer in word doc templates

Hi

I have content type templates set up in my sharepoint library and in the footer includes my sharepoint meta data e.g. Title, version number.

I am trying to add the Issue date to the footer which is a calculated column and from a quick search I see SP calculated columns can not be added in quick parts.

Does anyone have a work around for this please?
