Outllook does not receive read gmail.

I've been using Outlook 10 for years withouit this problem, but just opened a 365 account using Outlook classic. I've tried everything Google has to offer but can't fix the problem. Everything works fine but once I read a gmail on my phone or browser it will not be recieved by Outlook.

    I had a similar issue before. Besides checking Gmail's IMAP settings, I'd also recommend removing and re-adding the Gmail account in Outlook to refresh the OAuth authentication. Updating Outlook and creating a new Outlook profile can also help if the issue is profile-related. Hopefully one of these steps resolves it.

    Hi, this sounds like Gmail is being added with POP behavior or a sync setting that only brings unread mail. I’d remove the account from Outlook and add it again as IMAP or Google-connected OAuth, then confirm Gmail settings allow IMAP and are not archiving/skipping messages unexpectedly. Also check Outlook’s Send/Receive settings and make sure no filter is hiding read messages.
