The account cannot receive shares on OneDrive.

Dear Everyone,

I am experiencing an issue with the E3 account in OneDrive. While this account can share files with anyone, some individuals are unable to share files with it. This problem results in an 'access denied' message.

Thank you,

Khoa Phan

If you're experiencing issues with your E3 account in OneDrive for Business where certain individuals are unable to share files with it and receive an "access denied" message, there are a few possible causes and solutions you can try:

  1. Check Sharing Settings: Ensure that the sharing settings for your OneDrive for Business account are properly configured. Here's how:

    • Sign in to your OneDrive for Business account.
    • Click on the "Settings" gear icon in the upper-right corner.
    • Select "Site settings" from the dropdown menu.
    • Under the "Users and Permissions" section, click on "Site permissions."
    • Verify that the appropriate permissions are assigned to the individuals who need to share files with your account. They should have at least "Edit" or "Contribute" permissions.
  2. External Sharing Settings: Check the external sharing settings to ensure that sharing with external users is allowed. Here's how:

    • In the "Site settings" page (as described in the previous step), under the "Site Collection Administration" section, click on "External sharing."
    • Make sure that external sharing is enabled and configured according to your requirements. You may need to allow sharing with specific domains or individual email addresses.
  3. Sharing Restrictions: If your organization has specific sharing restrictions in place, such as restrictions based on domain or location, it's possible that the individuals who are trying to share files with your account fall into a restricted category. In this case, you may need to work with your IT administrator or support team to address the issue.

Remember to provide specific details about the error message, the users who are experiencing the issue, and any other relevant information when seeking support.
