Can't open files from one drive
I have saved some personal files onto my laptop from a work one drive account. I have now had tgenone drive account closed as I have left tge company. When I try to open the PowerPoints and word docs on my laptop, it says it is unable to read the file. Is there any workaround to open these files please? I desperately need them and my old company will not reinstate the account to allow me to do so. Thanks in advance.

- Mike WilliamsSteel ContributorIt's likely you didn't save full offline copies and you simply have nonworking links to the online storage you once had.
Having backups is your only solution if your former employer won't cooperate. Backups are always the solution.
