What happens to Litigation Hold data of Litigation Hold is turned off?
We have a mailbox that has been on hold for 3 years now.
1. What happens to Litigation Hold data of Litigation Hold is turned off?
2. Will the 3 years data in hold still be recovered if Litigation Hold is turned off?
Thanks

That depends on many factors, where exactly is the data located, is it in the main mailbox or under the recoverable items subtree, do you have any retention policies in place, etc. Also, what exactly do you mean by "recovered"?

what exactly do you mean by "recovered"? -mail can be searched or exported using ediscoveryAny data stored in the Recoverable items subtree will gradually start aging out and be eventually permanently deleted if all the holds are removed from a mailbox.
